Coiling (language English)
We are introducing the basic techniques as the primitive peoples used them. These primaeval populations were completely connected to Mother Earth and the Plant People. Before we start, we make conscious contact with our body, our hands, our creative power, the earth… Thanks to this connection the techniques can be mastered more easily.
Coiling is the collective name for tying together natural materials and/or all kinds of textiles.
This technique lends itself to a utensil or creates an artful sculpture! Discover what treasures grow in your garden/environment, prune some herbs; collect twigs of birch/willow/beech, mosses, grasses, rushes…
The technology is provided. With your own material, you can start up a workpiece and determine the design and size yourself.
