Your room

Our villa features an airy and light-filled room. You will live in the countryside outside the town of Älmhult, surrounded by forests. Opportunities exist for taking long nature walks. Småland with its cuteness overload will bring you lots of joy and a ‘Pippi-feel’.

The house is nestled in the forest, where you can get away from noise and traffic. Enjoy the tranquillity and the sounds of birds.
By walking only 2 km, you can enjoy the beautiful Lake Römningen with bathing possibilities.

You will have your private room on the upper floor with its own terrace. With a total area of 25 square meters, the room is equipped with two single beds, a desk for writers, and a comfortable armchair. On the same floor, opposite the room, you’ll find your own private bathroom with a shower and toilet.
You don’t have to worry about bed linen, bath sheets, towels, shampoo, soap, or toilet paper since they are included in the price.

Your hosts

We are a Swedish-Belgian host couple, both teachers and artists. Our languages include Swedish, English, Dutch, and some French. After renovating the guest room, we recently decided to start up a B&B.

Prices

For 1 person, 590 SEK per night, which always includes breakfast.

For 2 persons, 690 SEK per night, which always includes breakfast.

You will receive a 10% discount if you book a minimum of 3 nights in a row.

Our atelier events offer a special discount to those enrolled in our courses.

*Swish, Euro’s and cash are accepted.

Breakfast

You can enjoy a vegetarian breakfast, which is included in the price, from 8:00 am. If it works better for you, we can agree on a later time. Breakfast will be available in the dining room downstairs.

Breakfast comprises:

Three kinds of bread, butter and cheese, tomato and cucumber.
Peanut butter, chocolate spread, gingerbread spread (speculaas pasta).
Eggs, yoghurt, muesli, jam and seasonal fruit.
Coffee, tea, honey, sugar, milk and oat milk, juice.

If you prefer something else for breakfast, feel free to bring it with you.

You will find a fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave oven, plates, mugs, cutlery, cutting board, and knife in the dining room.

Cleaning

We will handle the cleaning of the room and bathroom after you, but it is your responsibility to ensure that you leave everything in good condition. You can find some basic cleaning equipment in the bathroom cupboard.

Parking

Free parking opposite the house.

Amenities

Your bed linen is included.
You as a guest have your private shower and toilet, opposite the room.
The bathroom essentials include bath sheets, towels, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, a drying rack and clothespins.
100 Mbit/s fast guest wifi available.
For a fee of 80 SEK, you can use the washing machine and tumble dryer in the laundry room.
Breakfast will be served in the dining room between 8:00 and 9:00.
In the dining room you’ll find a guest-fridge, kettle, toaster, egg cooker, microwave oven, plates, mugs, cutlery, cutting board and knife.
Regional tourist information is available.
You can walk in the garden and also use the garden furniture.

House rules

Maximum 2 guests.
Arrival time: after 15:00
Checkout time: 10:30
No pets. We have a cat and he is the boss. We do not allow ‘Bobo’ to visit the guest area.
No food can be taken into the bedroom. You are welcome to use the dining room.
Our kitchen is private.
No parties or events. We enjoy the quietness here.
We ask you to be silent after 22:00.
Our house is smoke-free (even on the terrace) and perfume-free (Bie is allergic to some perfumes).
You will be staying in our home, so please treat it with consideration and respect.
